It has been a while since I've written, and a lot has happened. A lot of children have been learning about Jesus. I am one year older. El Paso thermometers saw 110 this week. But we did have thunderstorms the past two nights, and they were a welcome relief.
We are closing up our fourth week of clubs today. This week has been a fun one. Emily and I have two daycare clubs, which are usually large and entertaining. We also have another home club that has an average of 18 kids a day, and they are all attentive and eager to learn. We have six clubs total this week.
Our host family has three children, two older boys, and a girl who is five. Faith is a bundle of high-pitched energy but we have succeeded in getting her to play the "quiet game" for hours on end! :) Last night we had green chicken enchiladas, beans, rice, and peach cobbler for dessert... mmmmmhmm.
Well, I must get ready for clubs. I am feeling a little better, but I still have a cough. I am also working on a video to show at our end-of-the-program testimonial. I will post it on here as soon as its done. I hope you are all well, friends!
